Wallenstein’s Town

Jičín went through its expansion during the reign of Albrecht von Wallenstein, who made it the centre of his dominion. Albrecht put a lot of effort and money into rebuilding the town and even minted his own coins here. The town has kept its historical nature until this day, and visitors are left with an unforgettable experience. A square skirted by arcades is the framework of the historical centre of the town.
