Dětenice has not only the Baroque chateau as an attraction, but also a brewery and a medieval tavern.
The chateau offers a tour with a unique collection of weapons of the Knights of Malta (also known as Knights Hospitaller), a collection of hunting trophies, and unusual floral decoration throughout the interior. Beer lovers should not miss out on a visit to the brewery, which has a spot of beer tasting as part of the tour. You can experience medieval times in the local tavern, where meals are roasted over the open fire and then eaten without the aid of cutlery.
