Welcome to Jicin

Jičín is a culturally and historically gifted town. Tourists have been visiting Jičín since the 19th century, interested in legacy of the general and politician Albrecht Vaclav Eusebius of Valdstejn and also stories of a robber Rumcajs. Jičín is a town of fairy tales, reviving them in annual Jičín-Město pohádek Festival.

The bust of K.H. Borovský

In a small park in the left side of the lime tree alley there is a sculpture of Prometheus which joins the bust of K. H. Borovský. This sculpture was made by J. Říha in 1906.
