Tourists have been visiting Jičín since the 19th century, interested in legacy of the general and politician Albrecht Vaclav Eusebius of Valdstejn and also stories of a robber Rumcajs. Jičín is a town of fairy tales, reviving them in annual Jičín-Město pohádek Festival.
